Alfombra India manufactures and exports handmade woollen and viscose carpets from Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh, India. Our family business began in 1990, in a region where weaving is part of everyday life.
We bring that knowledge to a wide range of rug constructions, from detailed hand-knotted carpets to expressive hand-tufted designs and tactile flat weaves. Our in-house designers also welcome your ideas, developing possibilities around your preferred size, colour, material and design.
Behind each rug is a commitment to quality. We supervise every stage of production and plan raw-material procurement with care, so craftsmanship and thoughtful execution stay connected.

New Zealand wool, Indian wool, imported wool, blended wool, merino, mohair and alpaca.
Silks & soft fibres
Pure silk, bamboo silk, banana silk, bamboo, viscose, Tencel, jasmine silk and sari silk.
Earthy textures
Natural jute, hemp, linen, pure nettle and cotton.
Creative blends
Wool–silk and jute–bamboo silk blends, PET yarn, polyester, nylon and leather.
